Nick and Will were here only 2 days at the same time, but what a fun time we had. When Will arrived, I think Nick was so happy to have someone else to speak English with besides me that he could pop! It is a little isolating to be in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language, unless you go out of your way to talk to folks.
When Will arrived, we took him back up to the Piazzele Michelangelo. It was another beautiful day. We had some lunch, drank a few beers, and then did the usual walking tour with Will.
My birthday was on Tuesday, so we visited the Uffizzi, shopped, ate, and drank a lot! Here are some photos of our time together and our celebration. This will be one of my more memorable birthday experiences!
